The Sky is a Hazy Shade of Winter*

...and I'm over it. The season has clearly overstayed its welcome, and I will be glad to see it go, taking my tights, dry skin, and pale complexion with it. Lately up here, there's been promises of warmer days to come, with the sun vaguely suggesting it's ready to join us again and banish the frigid temps. On the days when I have to locate my sunglasses and I can leave my peacoat at home, I anticipate nothing more than spring and summer in the city (perhaps full-time employment in which I have business cards and am actually in the company's mailroom system), and I look forward to these:

-Dining al fresco in Bryant Park for their free movie showings
-Watching Anne Hathaway cross-dress
-Getting myself invited to the Hamptons or another comparable beach
-Tissues? Check. Time to put my Spanish major to good use

*Thanks to a weekend viewing of Less Than Zero (that, thanks to a recent James Spader kick), I can't get enough of this Bangles'  song.
